Your A Jerk If...

Excuse me while I vent for a moment...

You are an jerk if...you ride your motorcycle between vehicles on the highway whenever traffic boggs down or stops because you don't think traffic laws apply to you and your time is more important than everyone else.

I live in Richardson and travel 75-Central Expway everyday to my office downtown. There is a specific motorcycle rider, with a purple helmet and black leather jacket, I see at least once a week that does this. Quite often I don't see him until he has just passed me but sometimes I see him in my side view mirror skirting traffic as he travels between stopped cars. Sometimes I get so hot by this that I really do want to throw my door open so he will plow into it at about 20 mph. That way, when I get to the office or home, I can feel like I've accomplished something that day.

Not to nit pick but the correct use of the word "you're" is like I just typed it. As in You are a jerk if...:) I love you! And I'm sorry about the jerks on 75. you know I agree since you often experience my road rage.

i'm listening to our son cry in his bed right now. he refuses to sleep.

Umm.. just FYI... actually - driving between vehicles in stopped/slow traffic isn't against the law for Motorcycles... California, Texas and a couple of other states allow for motorcycles to do this. Just like motorcycles can drive in HOV lanes (which ironically stands for High Occupancy Vehicle... which a motorcycle is not!?!?)

As a former rider - I personally am not a fan of driving between lanes to pass traffic. Just too dangerous - however, as dumb as the law may be - it actually IS legal.
Go figure...
